I may have overreacted

I stand by my denunciation of the ridiculous visa application, but actually getting through passport control here in Frankfurt was surprisingly drama-free. Not that I’m complaining. Far from it.

So I may have neglected to mention that my Athens flight was delayed because a lady was ill and needed to be taken away; I don’t actually know about that, I was just told it by another passenger afterwards. I was asleep. But I do remember waking up intermittently and thinking ‘Fuck me, we’re still on the ground.’

Because of that I missed my flight to Chicago, so I had to be redirected to Frankfurt, and the lady who rebooked my flights scared the pants off me by saying I would have problems with passport control at Frankfurt.

I didn’t. So there. (sticks tongue out and blows a raspberry)

As a result I am no longer angry at the state of the world, but I am a bit peckish.
